“BETA GRABS”, a book by Palace Skateboards / Living Proof. Now available exclusively for Living Proof Members, via our website.

London-based skateboarding company Palace Skateboards has long made its skate videos using obsolete analog video technology rather than conventional digital cameras. Central to this approach is the Sony Betamax, a heavy, tape-operated video camera.

For over a decade, Palace has carried these cameras around the world, filming skating and touring from London to Detroit.

“BETA GRABS”, published by Living Proof New York in collaboration with Palace Skateboards, is a collection of images from 10 years of Betamax usage documenting the touring, lifestyle and skateboarding behind the Palace videos.

”BETA GRABS” will be distributed exclusively to Living Proof Members, via our website. Shipped to our members for November, 2026.
